At Macquarie postgraduate students and programs are administered by several different areas. It is important that students contact the correct section

All Postgraduate Coursework Applicants 

You should apply for all Statistics Postgraduate coursework degrees directly through Macquarie University.

The application form and further information can be found in the Postgraduate Studies section website.

Dates for admission and enrolment are available from the University Postgraduate Studies section. 

International Postgraduate Coursework Applicants

International students should contact Macquarie International regarding admission to Macquarie University.

All Higher Degree Research Applicants 

Prospective Research Degree Students should investigate the Department's Research pages and the staff research interests of the Department to ensure there are staff to supervise the proposed research.

They should also contact the Department's Research Degree Co-ordinator Associate Professor Andrzej Kozek for discussion prior to filling out an application.

Domestic Postgraduate Research Degree Applicants

Most information that you require can be obtained from the Higher Degree Research Office Booklet. From this source, and where available, online, you can access information on admission and entry requirements, forms & supporting document requirements, fees and scholarships.

Faculty of Business and Economics Scholarship information is available within the postgraduate information of the Faculty of Business and Economics site.

Applicants for research degrees are expected to investigate the Faculty Research areas and the appropriate Department websites to confirm that their areas of interest are aligned with interests of potential supervisory staff. Prior to completing their application, applicants should contact the Higher Degree Research Manager to confirm that appropriate supervision is available for the project.

Applications are typically reviewed from October for candidates starting in the following year, however applications are invited throughout the year.

International Postgraduate Research Degree Applicants
