Higher Degree Research Students
Faculty of Science PhD Research Scholarships
The faculty offers a limited number of research scholarships for candidates undertaking doctoral research full time in the departments of Accounting & Finance, Actuarial Studies, Business, Economics or Statistics.
The faculty is especially keen to receive applications from persons wishing to undertake doctoral research in one of our major areas of research or in one of our identified projects.
The award stipend is currently $32,500 per annum, tax exempt. Tenure is for 3 years, subject to satisfactory progress.
University and Commonwealth Funded Scholarships in Faculty of Science
The University provides several scholarships of interest to Postgraduate students. Candidates, including international students, who successfully apply for one of these scholarships and undertake their candidature within the Faculty of Science can expect to have their award stipend increased to a total of $32,500, tax exempt.
