Description
Data mining is widely used in large insurance companies, market research organisations, banks and other financial institutions. Various relevant multivariate methods will be introduced and their application demonstrated using one of the major data mining packages. Included will be a discussion of data mining algorithms, classification, prediction and retrieval systems.
